Hello, I’m Julia. I owned a successful candle company for more than 15 years before selling it and retiring more than 5 years ago. When owning my business I always regretted not having the time to truly tinker with and perfect a made from  scratch fragrance formulation. I had never experienced the wonders of perfume grade fragrances from the capital of fragrance Grasse, France. I never had the time to tinker with endless design possibilities or investigate truly what makes the perfect gift.

The Violette project is borne out of a desire to create the most evocatively fragranced candle, the most fragrant diffuser and the most perfectly packaged gift.

The Violette candle is made in a unique, hand crafted vessel that can be kept for many uses afterwards. It’s packaging is elevated with attention to detail – the perfect ribbon bow, the calligraphy.. It is a gift I would want to receive and treasure.
